Where a kurta usually keeps its yoke plain, this one is pieced with colour — pink, mustard, coral and sage, some patches flat, some raised into knots and beadwork, all worked by hand. The cotton falls easy below it, with a band collar, a short slit placket, three-quarter sleeves and pockets in the side seams. Trousers narrow to the ankle. Coral, sage green and butter yellow.
